Our Story
Born From Plain, Driven By Purpose
In 2017, while my wife and I were working in the sciences and helping plant a church in Tampa, FL, our lives changed overnight. Following what should have been a routine hand surgery, my wife began experiencing severe, unexplainable pain. Soon after, she was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)—a rare, chronic condition often described as one of the most painful known to medicine.
CRPS Ranks highest on the McGill Pain Index and has been compared to the feeling of an unmedicated amputation, except the pain is constant. Standard treatments are limited, with only 10-30% of patients experiencing even partial relief with most treatments.
This lack of effective care leaves many patients feeling hopeless. Studies suggest 5-14% of those diagnosed attempt suicide, a heartbreaking reality that translates to approximately seven attempts per day on the U.S.
Our journey to find relief for my wife led to the development of a formulation we believe can offer hope to others facing the same suffering.
My background includes research in pain drug discovery while at GlaxoSmithKline and a biotech company called Amphora Discovery. In noticing her pain type I immediately began to think of different enzymes, receptors and ion channels which would be involved in her pain processes. Upon researching natural products which impact those particular targets I put together a formulation which worked fairly well for her. It was so remarkable to see her go from curled up in excruciating pain too seeing relief in 30 minutes. It was truly an answer to prayer.
We didn’t really know how well this formulation worked as Lori was receiving a variety of treatments at the same time, which is how they typically attack the CRPS. Recently I was able to connect with other CRPS sufferers who were able to try the formula and the results were remarkable. Then I was able to modify it to improve the results even more. From the results and testimonial pages, you can see that we will not only have the potential to help the CRPS community tremendously but also the chronic pain community and opioid addiction.
The cost of bringing this type of formulation to market is well over $1 million. This covers the cost of manufacturing and all of the requirements for FDA approval.
Our intent is to get this product in the hands of CRPS patients as quickly as possible and then expand to the chronic pain Community as well as those addicted to opioids.
